Shivanshu Raj Shrivastava is an experienced Software Engineer with a passion for cloud-native technologies. He is a skilled open-source contributor with expertise in Golang, Java, C++, Python, and Node.js. Shivanshu is currently working as an Organization Member at Kubernetes and has mentored 3 projects in ScoreLab during Google Summer of Code 2021. Shivanshu has a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. He has worked for Cognizance as a Joint Secretary and for Aries IIT Roorkee as a Core Member of the Artificial Intelligence and Electronics section. During his time at Aries IIT Roorkee, Shivanshu represented IIT Roorkee for Inter IIT Techmeet-2018 at IITM for the problem statement "Technology for Soldier support" by Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). He also designed a localization system for real-time position estimation of soldiers with Gesture communication facility and developed hardware for VHF/UHF transmission of encrypted video from the battlefield to the basecamp. Shivanshu has integrated the Health Monitoring and Localization subsystems with the Raspberry Pi based latch-on device on each soldier. Shivanshu's current interests lie in Cloud-native technologies like Kubernetes, Service Mesh, and Cloud Monitoring. He has a strong engineering background and is proficient in Elastic Search and Flask. Shivanshu has relevant experience of 2.86 years as a Software Engineer and is a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) and Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD). He is also a speaker at the "GSoC mentor summit" and a member of k8s and GSoC. Shivanshu is a dedicated and hardworking individual with a demonstrated history of working in the internet industry.
